Hulu to Add 15 New Releases This Week: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Hulu this week (January 19-25, 2026) will add 15 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

FX’s The Beauty
What Kind of Show: Drama, Satire
When to Watch: Wednesday, January 21 (First 3 episodes of season one)

Who’s In It: Evan Peters, Rebecca Hall, Ashton Kutcher
Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall star as FBI agents who are summoned to Paris to investigate the mysterious and gruesome deaths of several supermodels. Once there, they discover a sexually transmitted virus could be the cause and that a tech billionaire (Ashton Kutcher, pictured above) may be responsible. The Beauty, co-written and created by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story, Glee), is a dark satire on fashion’s drive for perfection and the dark money that funds that drive. It also sounds like your next streaming obsession. The first three episodes debut January 21 with the remaining eight running weekly on Wednesdays until its finale on March 6.

Hoops, Hopes & Dreams
When to Watch: Monday, January 19
What Kind of Show: Sports, History, Documentary
Who’s In It: Martin Luther King, Jr, President Barack Obama

In celebration of the Martin Luther King holiday on Monday, Hulu presents this 20-minute documentary on how the 1960s Civil Rights leader played city basketball to attract young African-American males to his movement. King’s strategy, which was later adopted by Barack Obama in his presidential run decades later, has been largely unreported until now.

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere (2025)
When to Watch: Friday, January 23
What Kind of Show: Biofilm
Who’s In It: Jeremy Allen White, Jeremy Strong

Jeremy Allen White (pictured above) stars as the Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, in this biofilm featuring the singer’s struggles with depression and fame while making the 1982 album, Nebraska. White (The Bear) is very good in the title role although the film occasionally bogs down due to a lackluster storyline. Still worth watching, though, if you’re a Springsteen fan – and there are certainly plenty of those.
