Deal Alert: Verizon Slashing HBO Max Prices Next Week

Wireless carrier Verizon has announced that it’s dropping HBO Max prices for all new and existing Verizon myPlan (mobile) and myHome customers effective December 16, 2025.

The ad-free upgrade to HBO Max Standard plan, which normally costs $10.99 a month via Verizon, will be available for $7.50 a month. The ad-free upgrade to the HBO Max Premium plan, which normally costs $15 a month on Verizon, will be reduced to $12 a month.

Verizon is keeping the Netflix and HBO Max bundle price at $10 a month (which is now an $8.98 savings; HBO Max raised its streaming prices last month but Verizon is keeping the bundle price the same.)

The reduced prices will be automatically adjusted to existing customers’ bills. If you have a HBO Max subscription outside of Verizon, you will need to cancel it to get the reduced price sub on Verizon.
