Comcast’s Xfinity TV today announced the launch of five new video packages which include an X1 4K box, 4K programming, voice remote and no contracts or hidden fees, the company says.
The cheapest plan, called TV Core, costs $65 a month and includes more than 10 channels, mostly local network affiliates.
The Sports & News plan, a genre-specific package with 50 plus channels including national sports networks, costs $90 a month. (The plan previously started at $70 a month but you had to pay extra fees.)
The World Soccer Ticket, designed to target 2026 World Cup fans, includes 55 plus channels and costs $95 a month. The package features channels that broadcast live soccer such as ESPN Deportes, Universo and TUDN.
The TV Plus plan, which has more than 125 channels including local networks and the basic cable lineup, costs $105 a month.
Finally, the TV Premium package, which has more than 185 channels, costs $135 a month.
There are no extra fees with each plan and you can get each one for a $10 a month discount if you bundle it with Xfinity Internet.
Each plan also includes ‘Enhanced 4K’ of live sports; Multiview, which displays multiple games on one screen; and FanView, which displays stats and scores.
“Like we did with Xfinity Internet, we’ve simplified and reimagined our video packages, making it easy and hassle-free for our customers to enjoy great content on the best and most innovative entertainment experience,” said Steve Croney, Chief Operating Officer and incoming Chief Executive Officer, Connectivity & Platforms, Comcast. “When combined with Internet and mobile, our new video packages offer unmatched value, plus there’s even more opportunity for savings with bundles like Xfinity StreamSaver.”
You can watch Xfinity video on the X1 box or the Xfinity Stream app.

I just contacted Xfinity about their new TV package.i don’t know how $125 turned into $195. I thought no hidden fees.what a bunch of bullcrap.
Does that include Internet?
Yes
The stated price is just the video plan. There’s nothing to suggest the Internet is part of that.
