Soccer fans just got a better reason to subscribe to Apple TV.
Beginning in 2026, all Major League Soccer matches will be available for free for Apple TV subscribers. The MLS Season Pass pay package will be disbanded following this year, meaning you will be able to watch all the league’s games (without blackout) with the $12.99 a month Apple TV subscription.
Apple has never released specific numbers for how many people signed up for MLS Season Pass which the company started offering during the 2023 season. However, shifting the games to the cheaper $12.99 a month plan will undoubtedly increase viewership for the league. The MLS Season Pass plan was $99 to begin the season.
“We’re thrilled to bring MLS to more fans around the world next season on Apple TV,” Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of services, said in a statement. “Every match, all in one place, alongside incredible Apple Originals — it’s a win for fans everywhere.”
“Our partnership with Apple has always been about innovating for our fans,” added Don Garber, Major League Soccer’s commissioner. “Bringing every MLS match to Apple TV takes that vision to the next level by making it easier than ever for fans everywhere to watch, connect, and be part of the game.”
The MLS coverage on Apple TV will include every regular-season match, the annual Leagues Cup tournament, the MLS All-Star Game, the Campeones Cup, and the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
