Peacock this week (October 26-November 1, 2025) plans to add 91 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:
The Fall Guy (2024)
Release Date: Thursday, October 30
The Fall Guy stars Ryan Gosling as a Hollywood stunt man whose work in his ex-girlfriend’s (Emily Blunt) film gets complicated when the lead actor mysteriously disappears. The director asks him to find the actor which turns out to be his most dangerous stunt yet. The comedy/adventure film was one of the great popcorn movies of 2024, which means dim the lights, and your expectations, before viewing and you’ll enjoy.
Jurassic World Rebirth
Release Date: Thursday, October 30
Scarlett Johansson (pictured above) and Mahershala Ali star as covert operatives who lead a team to a remote island where the last dinosaurs reside so they can extract some dinosaur DNA for a life-saving heart disease drug. The problem with that? This is a Jurassic Park movie which means the dinosaurs are not inclined to cooperate. I will repeat my Fall Guy advice. Lower the lights and your expectations and you’ll have fun. (But this is no Spielberg.)
American Sniper (2014)
Release Date: Saturday, November 1
American Sniper is a gripping and emotionally charged war drama that offers an intense portrayal of the life and experiences of Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle. Directed by Clint Eastwood and brilliantly brought to life by Bradley Cooper’s outstanding performance, the film takes viewers on a harrowing journey through the complexities of war and the toll it takes on its soldiers.
