Netflix to Add 40 New Titles This Week – Here’s the 3 Most Interesting

Netflix this week (July 29-August 4, 2024) plans to add 40 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three most interesting new titles, in my humble opinion:

Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats — Netflix Comedy Special
This host of the hugely popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, returns to stand-up comedy with a live performance streamed exclusively on Netflix. Rogan, who often espouses conspiratorial and conservative views, is sure to alienate some here but there’s no doubt he’s a funny guy. Debuts Saturday, August 3, at 10 p.m. ET.

Unsolved Mysteries: Volume 4 (Netflix Original)
The anthology reboot is back with five more episodes of murder, mayhem and mysteries. This season will examine such charming topics as whether a mythical humanoid creature is actually real and how a notorious 19th Century serial killer managed to go free. Debuts Wednesday, July 31.

Love Is Blind: Mexico (Netflix Original)
Based on the American version of the Netflix dating series, 30 Mexican nubile men and women will take turns jumping into shielded pods to discuss life, sex and other trivial matters while searching for ‘the one.’ The show is more disposable than an ultra-soft box of Kleenex but it’s harmless and occasionally funny. And if you’re a 20something, it’s probably irresistible. The 10-episode show debuts Thursday, August 1.
