When Will YouTube Cut the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket Price?

The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.

TV Answer Man, I would like to get the NFL Sunday Ticket but we are already at week six and I don’t feel like I should have to pay full price now. Any guesses on when YouTube will cut the price this year or do you think they will cut the price? – Mario, town withheld.

Mario, you’re right. This is week six of the NFL’s 2025 regular season which has 18 weeks. However, if you sign up for the NFL Sunday Ticket now, you still would have to pay the full price which could be as much as $480 if you are a past subscriber and get the Ticket via YouTube Primetime Channels. I can understand the reluctance to pay full price when you are not getting the full season.

So when might YouTube decide to lower the price, you ask?

During the last two seasons (YouTube took over the exclusive rights to the Ticket starting with the 2023 season), the streamer lowered the price by approximately 40 percent with 10 weeks left in the season. That is also the same time that DIRECTV used to lower the Ticket’s price when it had the exclusive rights to the package of Sunday afternoon out-of-market NFL games. So the odds are good that you will see a 2025 price cut in two to three weeks but not until then.

Mario, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
