Can a Cord Cutter Still Get the NFL RedZone Channel?

By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.

TV Answer Man, I just stream Netflix, Amazon, etc. and no other broadcast platforms like YouTube TV, Hulu etc. Is there any way for me to receive the RedZone for the NFL if I just carry the latter stream services? – Louis, town withheld.

Louis, the NFL RedZone channel, which is available on pay TV services such as DIRECTV, YouTube TV, Dish, Comcast and several others, offers live look-ins at pivotal moments during Sunday afternoon NFL games. The channel has become one of the most popular sports nets in the nation, perhaps even exceeding the NFL Sunday Ticket because the RedZone is less expensive; the channel is normally available for around $10-15 a month as part of an add-on sports plan. The Sunday Ticket costs as much as $480 a season.

If you don’t have a service that has the NFL RedZone channel, you can still get it by subscribing to the $14.99 a month NFL Plus Premium plan; NFL Plus is the league’s streaming service for cord cutters. The Premium plan not only includes the RedZone channel, it also has the NFL Network channel and live local and prime time regular season games, among other features. (Note that the RedZone is available on NFL Plus on TV and mobile devices, but the local and prime time games are only available on mobile devices.)

Louis, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
