Fox on Saturday (October 11, 2025) will air the Kansas at Texas Tech college football game in upscaled 4K. The game, which will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET, will be simulcast in high-definition on Fox network affiliates.

Ninth ranked Texas Tech (5-0) is a 14.5-point favorite to defeat unranked Kansas (4-2). ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Texas Tech a 74.4 percent chance of winning.

Texas Tech is led by senior QB Behren Morton who’s completed 69.3 percent of his passes with 12 touchdowns. Kansas is led by senior QB Jalon Daniels who’s completed 67.1 percent of his tosses with 16 touchdowns.

Fox’s 4K live sports broadcasts are upscaled from 1080p HDR (High Dynamic Range). Upscaling is the process when one video format is converted to another. Fox takes the 1080p HDR signal and converts it to a 4K format. Upscaling 4K is not considered as good as native 4K, but the inclusion of HDR can offer heightened colors and vividness. ESPN also upscaled its 4K broadcasts from a 1080p HD signal.
