Update: A Message From The TV Answer Man
By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
I want to update everyone on the future of TVAnswerman.com.
As you know, I announced last Friday that I plan to stop publishing articles at TVAnswerMan.com on January 1, 2026 unless the site receives a minimum of $1,000 in monthly subscriptions at the Buy Me a Coffee site. (You can subscribe here.)
There are three important updates I want you to know:
One, so far, there has been $70 in monthly subscriptions. I want to thank everyone who has subscribed and offered kind words of encouragement. This is greatly appreciated.
However, this is still a long way from our goal so please consider subscribing if you haven’t already.
Two, over the years, I have answered questions via e-mail from anyone who has asked without requiring any payment. However, as a benefit for monthly and annual subscribers, effective immediately, only subscribers can submit questions.
Monthly subscribers can ask up to five questions a month. Annual subscribers can ask up to 10 questions a month. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Three, as another subscriber benefit, I soon hope to be able to provide subscribers with ad-free articles. All non-subscribers will continue to see ads at the site. My advertising company, Ezoic, tells me this is possible so I need to work out the details.
That’s it for now. Again, many thanks for your continued support and Happy Thanksgiving!
Finally, you can subscribe to The TV Answer Man here.

Will your articles appear on msn still or will you stop writing all together
Everything is under review.
There are so many things you could do related to TV. Ask your readers what they want.
John, the problem is the Google Search Monopoly. I’ve written about every conceivable TV subject. It doesn’t matter what I right if Google puts the story on page 20 of its Search rankings.
I became a monthly supporter last Friday. I believe that makes me a monthly subscriber that can ask you 5 questions a month ? Would I need to do the annual support to ask 10 questions a month ?
That is correct, Jeff.
Do I still get the “Unlock exclusive posts and messages” for being a monthly subscriber too along with the 5 questions a month ?
Right now, there are no exclusive posts, but you’ll get them if I do them.
What has your $1000 goal risen too? Are you close? I think if many follwers knew your progress we’d gladly get you over the hump. I don’t follow you anywhere but only U/T issues via Answer Man. Hope for your success.
Curtis
Thanks, Curtis. Not close to the goal at this time.
