Netflix to Buy HBO?
Netflix could be interested in purchasing Warner Bros which would include streaming rival HBO, according to Puck. This tease comes on the heels of an earlier report that Paramount has made an all-cash bid for WB. The Netflix report may wind up as an effort by someone (at Warner Bros.) to drive up Paramount’s bid, but how interesting would it be if Netflix combined with the HBO library?

Tulsa King Already Renewed For Season 4
Tulsa King, Sylvester Stallone’s Paramount Plus crime drama, whose season three premiere episode airs today, has already been approved for season four. In fact, show is expected to begin filming season four in the next few months. Stallone plays a New York-based mob lieutenant who’s exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma to start a new crime empire after a falling out with the bosses.

Brad Pitt’s F1 Races to 4K Blu-ray On October 7
F1, which stars Brad Pitt (pictured above) as a ruthless and sometimes reckless race car driver, comes to 4K Blu-ray on October 7. The film is considered by many as the best ever to portray the tension and drama of F1 racing and it should look and sound fabulous on 4K Blu-ray. Pre-ordering has begun on Amazon.

HBO Max to Produce Mad Max Series?
The Mad Max saga, which started with the fabulous 1979 movie starring Mel Gibson, and was followed by a series of film remakes and sequels, could soon become a TV series on HBO Max, writes Gizmodo. And why not? Despite the concept’s age, the films continue to do well at the box office.

Charlie Kirk Producer Urges Paramount Plus to Restore South Park Episode
Andrew Kolvet, the producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, is urging Paramount Plus to restore a season 27 episode of South Park that mocked the young conservative who was assassinated earlier this month. The streamer removed the show after Kirk was killed on September 10, but Kolvet said the fallen leader loved the show and would not have approved of its removal.

Apple to Produce Scorsese/DiCaprio Horror Film?
Deadline reports that Martin Scorsese’s next film will be a throwback ghost story with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in lead. Apple, the site says, is contemplating producing which would mean a short theatrical run before landing on Apple TV+. The tech giant was the producer of Scorsese’s Killers of the Flowers Moon, which also starred DiCaprio.
