DIRECTV Adds 3 New Free Sports Channels

DIRECTV has added three new free sports channels to its MyFree DIRECTV streaming service.

The channels are: All Women’s Sports Network, which features live sports involving female athletes; Billard TV, a channel dedicated to pool matches; and Wired2Fish, which features tips on fishing.

The additions now means that DIRECTV’s free service has 30 sports channels. Here’s a complete list:

MyFree DIRECTV, which is available to both DIRECTV subscribers and non-DIRECTV consumers, now includes more than 110 live channels and on-demand programming. You can watch the free channels by creating a DIRECTV account at DIRECTV.com and then going to the DIRECTV Stream app or this web page.

DIRECTV is hoping that MyFree DIRECTV will generate additional advertising revenue as well as attract potential customers who might subscribe to the pay TV service after coming to its site/app.
