Updated: Deal Alert! Big Sunday Ticket Discounts For Former Subscribers!
By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.
TV Answer Man, will YouTube ever have discounts for people like me who used to subscribe to the NFL Sunday Ticket? – Danny, Buffalo.
Danny, YouTube last month began offering the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket to new users for $23 a month for 12 months, a total cost of $276. That’s a $102 discount for YouTube TV subscribers and a hefty $204 discount for those who purchase the Ticket via YouTube Primetime Channels.
However, the price break for new users was swiftly attacked by existing and past subscribers who complained they should be rewarded for their past loyalty by getting their own discounts. Well, I am happy to report that those discounts are now being offered.
If you are a returning subscriber, go to the Sunday Ticket web page, and click on the Get It Now button. You’ll see that the Sunday Ticket with a YouTube TV sub is now $19.50 a month for 12 months, a total of $234, which is a $144 discount. (You have to maintain a YouTube TV sub to get the YouTube TV/Sunday Ticket price.)
If you are a returning subscriber, and want the Sunday Ticket as a separate subscription via Primetime Channels, the cost is $28 a month for 12 months, which comes to $336, also a $144 discount.
Now they are two possible caveats to this offer.
One, if you are still on the auto renewal option from last year’s Sunday Ticket plan, you might need to cancel auto renewal and then sign up for the 2025 plan to get the discount.
Two, the discounts were displayed when I clicked on the Get It Now button this morning. I am a former Sunday Ticket subscriber, but I can’t guarantee it will display for every former Sunday Ticket subscriber. Companies sometimes display different page results based on a number of marketing reasons including zip code. But I would urge anyone looking for a Sunday Ticket price break to give it a try as soon as possible.
Update at 4 pm: Some people are reporting they are getting the discounts; some are saying their displayed discounts are smaller; and some are saying they are not getting any discounts. The TV Answer Man has asked Google/YouTube for an explanation on why there are multiple prices.
Update #2 at 5 pm: Some fans on X are reporting that they are getting even bigger discounts than the ones we reported this morning. It would appear that Google today is testing different prices at different times with many of them sharp discounts.
Update #3: YouTube confirms on X that there are discounts for existing Sunday Ticket customers. So if you’re having trouble finding one, contact their Live Support team.
One X user says he’s been offered the Ticket for $16 a month:

Here are the screenshots of the discounts which continue to display for me:

Danny, I hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!

WOW! I don’t know what zip code you live in but with mine there is no $19.50/mo. I still have a YouTube TV sub but I too cancelled my Sunday Ticket sub months ago. I clicked your link and the only offers were “Get Them Both” button for a bundle sub for both YouTube TV & Sunday Ticket (don’t need that) or the “Get it Now” button took me to 12 payments of $40 or 1 payment of $480 as a current YouTube TV subscriber. Doesn’t look like a good deal to me!
Might need to cancel YouTube TV.
I only had the stand alone version of Sunday Ticket (no YouTube TV) and canceled months ago as you recommended. I just clicked and got the same unattractive $480 option!

Mine is still only showing $50 off which sucks. 🙁 I would freaking love that $200 off offer.
