Comcast’s Xfinity TV service tonight will begin offering free access to Sunday Night Soccer on Apple’s MLS Season Pass plan. Tonight’s games will feature Lionel Messi’s InterMiami against Orlando City at 7 p.m. ET and LA Galaxy vs. LAFC at 9 p.m. ET.
The weekly Sunday night matches will be available in the Xfinity X1 channel guide and the Xfinity Stream app. There are no local blackouts on MLS Season Pass and the games are available in both English and Spanish.
Comcast offers subscriptions to MLS Season Pass which currently cost $69 for the remainder of the season or $14.99 a month. However, the Sunday night games are now free to Xfinity subscribers.
“Since we kicked off our partnership with Apple and MLS earlier this year, we’ve seen a great response from customers,” Comcast vice president Vito Forlenza said in a press release. “They’re enjoying MLS 360 and tuning it to the integrated match channels consistently week after week. Adding Sunday Night Soccer for free introduces even more customers to all the excitement of the season.”
Xfinity customers can find the Sunday matches within the soccer hub on the X1 box and the Stream app. X1 customers can also say ‘MLS’ into their voice remote to start watching.
