Amazon’s Prime Video this week (December 22-28, 2024) plans to add five new titles to its streaming lineup. Here are the two most interesting, in my humble opinion:

The Equalizer 2 (2018)
We’re back with Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua for the second installment in the Equalizer trilogy. Washington plays Robert McCall, a former CIA agent who strives to shed a life of guilty feelings by doing good for strangers. Of course, the good includes killing every bad guy in sight, but hey, as Training Day’s Denzel taught us, the ends can justify the means — and make for some great entertainment. Debuts Wednesday, December 25.

ChiefsAholic: A Wolf in Chief’s Clothing (2024)
Have you heard the one about a Kansas City Chiefs fan who attended games in a wolf outfit after robbing banks throughout the Midwest so he could afford the tickets? No, we’re not making it up. It’s a real story and Amazon will premiere a true-crime documentary on the bizarre tale of Xavier Babudar, aka number one ChiefsAholic, on Monday, December 23.
