Disney Plus to Add 9 New Titles This Week – Here’s the 2 Most Interesting

Disney Plus, the streaming service, plans to add nine new TV shows and movies this week (December 8-14, 2024). Here are the two most interesting, in my humble opinion:

The Simpsons Funday Football
If you watched last night’s Monday Night Football game between the Bengals and Cowboys on ESPN or ABC, you missed the bizarre alternative broadcast of the contest featuring The Simpsons on Disney Plus and ESPN Plus. The Simpsons-cast featured animated characters as the players in real time, including the incorrigible Bart Simpson as the Cowboys QB1, It was a wild moment in TV history and you can relive it now on Disney Plus. Debuts Monday, December 9. Now available on replay. 

Elton John: Never Too Late
Elton John’s music catalog is overflowing with such classic hits as Your Song, Daniel, Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. This documentary chronicles his amazing 50-year plus career including archival and personal footage never before seen. Debuts Friday, December 13.
