Max, the streaming service formerly known as HBO Max, today (April 1, 2025) has added 67 new movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the highlights.
New Movies On Max
The Terminator, the 1984 sci-fi thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a futuristic cyborg sent to Earth to kill the future leader of a resistance movement; Sixteen Candles, the charming 1984 comedy from director John Hughes which stars Molly Ringwald as a teen whose life goes totally berserk when her family forgets her birthday; Suspicion, the 1941 classic mystery from director Alfred Hitchcock starring Cary Grant as a husband suspected by his wife, Joan Fontaine, of plotting her murder; Bad Santa, the ribald 2003 comedy starring Billy Bob Thornton as a department store Santa whose idea of good cheer consists of hooch and a heist.
