TV Answer Man, thank you for your updates on Fox’s college football games in 4K. Do you know if the Fox network will have the baseball playoffs in 4K? Thank you. — Jerry, New Bern, North Carolina.
Jerry, Fox this week will offer two more college football games in upscaled 4K: Game one will be tonight at 9 p.m. ET (October 4) when unranked Michigan State will play 6th ranked Oregon. Game two in upscaled 4K will be Saturday at noon ET (October 5) when UCLA will visit 7th ranked Penn State. Both games will be simulcast on Fox network affiliates in high-def.
But what about the MLB playoffs, you ask? Will F0x have those games in 4K, too?
Answer: Yes!
Fox will provide the entire National League playoffs in upscaled 4K, starting with tomorrow’s 4 p.m. ET matchup between the Mets and Phillies. Then, the Padres will play the Dodgers on Fox 4K at 8:30 p.m. ET. (TBS, which has the rights to the American League games, will not offer the games in 4K; Max, however, will deliver them in 1080p HD.
