NFL Sunday Ticket: Can You Still Get a Free Trial?

TV Answer Man, do you know if YouTube will still have a free trial for the NFL Sunday Ticket this week? I know they had it last Sunday, but if I signed up today, would there be a free trial first? — Gene, Pittsburgh.

Gene, you’re right. YouTube last week began offering a one-week free trial to the 2024 NFL Sunday Ticket. The free trial was noted at checkout when you purchased the package of out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. With the free trial, you could watch the games, and not have to pay for the subscription if you cancelled prior to the end of the seven days.

I am happy to report that the seven-day free trial still comes with the Sunday Ticket. I don’t know how long YouTube will offer it, but it’s there as of today. (Last year, YouTube removed the free trial after the first month of the season.)

Note that the free trial is only available to new users, which means if you previously subscribed to the Ticket or used a free trial, you are not eligible.

Another Sunday Ticket update: The $50 discount via the promo code, TICKET50, appears to be no longer be available. So you will have to pay full price for the Ticket ($379 via the YouTube TV bundle or $479 if purchased separately with YouTube Primetime Channels) if you subscribe now.

Gene, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
