Fubo, fresh from winning a preliminary injunction against the sports streaming bundle, Venu, has raised the price of its second and third most expensive packages for new subscribers. However, the base plan, Pro, remains at $79.99 a month.

The Elite plan, which was $89.99 a month, is now called Elite With Sports Plus and costs $99.99 a month. The new Elite packages includes 4K programming (Pro does not) and Fubo’ Sports Plus package of channels which includes the NFL RedZone channel.

The Fubo Premier Plan, which was $99.99 a month, has been replaced by the Deluxe package which is $109.99 a month. Deluxe also includes 4K and Sports Plus with NFL RedZone, but it also has MGM+.

Both Deluxe and Elite With Sports Plus have around 300 channels, unlimited cloud DVR use and the capacity to steam at home or away from home. Neither the old Elite or Premier plan had the Sports Plus channels.

A Fubo spokeswoman tells The TV Answer Man that the new pricing structure will not change the current plans for existing customers.

Venu, a joint venture between Warner Bros. Discovery, Disney and Fox, was expected to launch their sports-centric streaming service in the next few weeks at $42.99 a month. However, on Friday (August 16), a New York district judge granted Fubo’s motion for a preliminary injunction against the three-headed streamer, saying Fubo’s argument that it would violate anti-trust laws would likely win in court.

Fubo, a multi-channel live streaming service, contends that it would be forced out of business if consumers could subscribe separately to 14 live sports channels such as ESPN, TNT, TBS and Fox via Venu rather than getting a multi-channel service such as Fubo.

Venu will appeal the decision.
