Hulu this week (August 19-25, 2024) plans to add 21 new TV shows and movies to its subscription Video on Demand service.
But to the question of whether there is anything new worth watching: Well, let’s put it this way:
No.
Next week the streamer will begin a new season of its popular comedy, Only Murders In the Building. But this week, the choices are thinner than a runway model on a hunger strike. Among the additions, FX’s The New York Times Presents: Lie to Fly, a documentary about mental illness affecting commercial pilots, looks mildly interesting although it might trigger a lifelong aversion to air travel. But not much else.
But if you have Hulu — and can’t find anything else new and interesting this week — here’s what will be added from August 19 through August 25.
