NFL Sunday Ticket: Does the Student Plan Auto Renew?

By Phillip Swann

TV Answer Man, I had the Sunday Ticket plan as a student last year. Do you know if it auto renews or do you have to subscribe again? And if you do, do you know the price? — Jeremy, College Park, Maryland.

Jeremy, YouTube Primetime Channels last year offered the base NFL Sunday Ticket to verified college students for $109 for the entire season. If a student added the NFL RedZone channel, the price was only $10 more.

However, last year’s subscription does not auto renew so you will have to resubscribe this year if you want the Ticket for the 2024 season. And I’m sorry to tell you that the student plan for 2024 is $199 this year and $209 for the bundled plan with the NFL RedZone included. You can learn more about how to order it here.

That means the student price is nearly twice as much this year. However, it’s still less than what non-college students have to pay. (The YouTube TV Ticket base sub starts at $349 while the YouTube Primetime Channels base Ticket base is $449. However, you may be eligible for a $100 discount. Learn more about that here.)

Jeremy, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
