TV Answer Man, I missed the games on Apple TV on Friday night. Is there any way to get a free trial for MLB games? — Heidi, Madison, Wisconsin.

Heidi, you’re in luck. Apple TV+ and MLB have teamed to offer a free two-month trial to the streaming service, effective immediately. The promotion, which expires on September 27, 2024, means you can watch Apple TV+’s Friday night MLB doubleheaders as well as the entire Apple TV+ lineup of shows and movies for free for two months.

However, note that the free trial to only available to new and “qualified returning” subscribers. Apple TV+ does not definite “qualified returning” so if you are a former sub, you’ll have to give it a try to find out. You can click here to sign up for the free two-month trial.

Apple TV+’s normal subscription price is $9.99 a month so be sure to cancel prior to the end of your two-month trial or you will be charged in month three.
