TV Answer Man, do you know if YouTube TV will have unlimited streams for the Sunday Ticket again in 2024. I’m not going to get another subscription without it, particularly being able to share my account with a friend. — Jamal, Sacramento, California.

Jamal, Google’s YouTube announced before the 2023 season that it would expand the number of streams available for the NFL Sunday Ticket on both YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels. The company first said there would only be two simultaneous streams, but fans balked so it dropped the restriction. Ticket subscribers had unlimited streams at home and two additional streams when watching away from home. With the new arrangement, a Ticket subscriber could put the Ticket on any TV in the house and still share his or her credentials with two people outside the household.

So will Google stay with the 2023 policy for simultaneous streaming for the Ticket? Answer: Yes. At its Sunday Ticket web site for the 2024 season, the company says this:

“NFL Sunday Ticket can be watched on unlimited (simultaneous) streams at home and 2 additional streams out of the home for household members on the go. For example, you can tune in on your living room TV while a family member watches on their tablet from a different room, and another member watches at the same time on their mobile phone when at home. But outside your home, you can only watch on up to two separate streams.”

This is good news for fans who want to split their Ticket subscription with friends. And speaking of that, YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels are now taking orders for the 2024 Sunday Ticket with new subscribers getting a $50 discount. Click here to learn more.

Jamal, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
