Will The Masters Air In 4K This Week?

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
TV Answer Man, will the Masters Tournament be broadcast in 4K at all this year on Amazon/ESPN/CBS/Masters app? The beauty of Augusta National deserves to be seen with as much clarity as possible! Thanks! – Jeff, town withheld.
The Masters, the most prestigious golf tournament on planet Earth, begins Thursday, April 9, with round one and runs through Sunday (April 12) with the fourth and final round. ESPN, CBS, Paramount Plus and, for the first time this year, Amazon’s Prime Video will provide HD coverage of the entire tournament; you can see a TV schedule here.
But what about The Masters 2026 in 4K, you ask?
Will The Masters Air In 4K?
During the last several years, DIRECTV has offered select coverage of the tournament in 4K and 2026 will be no different. On each day of the event this week, DIRECTV’s satellite and streaming services will air coverage of the Amen Corner (holes 11, 12 and 13) and holes 15 and 16 in 4K. The Amen Corner will be available on channel 105 while holes 15 and 16 will be on channel 106. You can see the DIRECTV 4K schedule here.
Will Other TV Providers Offer The Masters 2026 In 4K?
Just as in past years, DIRECTV has the exclusive 4K rights to The Masters. The 4K feed will not be available on any other TV provider including YouTube TV, Comcast, Spectrum TV, Dish and Fubo, pay TV services that normally carry special events in 4K when they are available in that format.
Jeff, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
