FOX, NBC, ABC, PBS, CBS Adding 17 Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch
By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
CBS PBS, FOX, ABC, NBC and The CW tonight (March 29, 2026) will add 17 shows. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern):
60 Minutes (New episode)
What Kind of Show: TV News Magazine
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 7 p.m.
The infatigable news team tonight will examine the growing concern of airline safety – yeah, a definite concern assuming you don’t expire in the TSA lines before your flight. Also, the intrepid Scott Pelley leads an expedition into the large caves of South Vietnam. (Have to say: If I was running a primetime news magazine, it might be a decade or two before I thought of doing a story with my 68-year-old correspondent descending into a cave 3,000 miles away. But, hey, that’s 60 Minutes!)

Marshals (New episode)
What Kind of Show: Drama/Western
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham
The latest Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals, stars Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, a former Navy Seal and rancher who joins the U.S. Marshals to protect Montana. Grimes (pictured above) was a popular player on Yellowstone so not surprisingly the Marshals’ premiere was a ratings hit. Tonight, in episode five, titled, ‘Lost Girls,’ Kayce goes rogue searching for a missing kid from Broken Rock.
NBA Basketball: Doubleheader
What Kind of Show: Sports
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 7:30 p.m.
Frankly, it’s not a big night tonight as far as new original programming is concerned. So let’s go with the NBA doubleheader on NBC. And there are two good matchups, particularly the opener with the New York Knicks (48-26) visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder (58-16). The teams are jockeying for a better playoff position with just a few weeks left in the regular season.

Curious to hear what you think about the NBA on NBC this season in its return to the network. Has been an upgrade in my humble opinion. Also, how does 60 Minutes think of these stories?!
