ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS Adding 16 Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

CBS, ABC, FOX, PBS, NBC and The CW tonight (March 24, 2026) will add 16 shows. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern):

High Potential (New Episode)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 9 p.m. ET

What Kind of Show: Drama/Comedy
Who’s In It: Kaitlin Olson
Daniel Sunjata
If you’re looking for a new show to love, check out High Potential, which was just renewed for season three. The show stars Kaitlin Olson as a genius single Mom (don’t all single Moms have to be geniuses?) who uses her exceptional brain power to help the local police solve crimes and Olson (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) is very good in lead. Tonight, in a new episode, entitled ‘Turn Up the Heat,’ Morgan (Olson) relies on old friends to solve a case involving street artists while, and we’re quoting ABC now, “Karadec (Daniel Sunjata) leans on the women in his life during his time of need.” Boy, that could be interpreted a few different ways. (Olson and Sunjata in the image above.)

RJ Decker (New episode)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch 10 p.m.
What Kind of Show: Drama/Comedy
Who’s In It: Scott Speedman, Jaina Lee Ortiz

Scott Speedman (Underworld, Grey’s Anatomy) stars as a disgraced journalist (and ex-convict; not sure which is worse) who attempts a life rebound as a private investigator in South Florida. The new ABC show has all the earmarks of being written by someone who watched a lot of 1970s/1980s network TV. Handsome guy with checkered past solves cases the police won’t touch in beach community populated by beautiful bikini-clad women. (Magnum PI, Rockford Files, etc.) Who knows? Maybe it’s an idea whose time has come…again. In tonight’s new episode, number four, Deck investigates a suburban housewife’s murder. Meanwhile, his ex-wife nags that he’s getting too close to Emi (Jaina Lee Ortiz).

Best Medicine (New Episode)
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
What Kind of Show: Comedy/Drama
Who’s In It: Josh Charles, Abigail Spencer

Josh Charles stars as Dr. Martin Best, a brilliant Boston doctor (there are only brilliant doctors in primetime TV) who moves to a small fishing village in Maine where comic hijinks and pregnant pauses soon ensue. Charles (The Good Wife) is an amiable and amusing presence in this ‘fish out of water’ tale, if you’ll forgive the pun and I’m sure you won’t. In tonight’s new episode, Dr. Best must navigate a potential flea plague while avoiding gossip about his relationship with Louisa (Abigail Spencer).
