TV Answer Man, do you know if North Carolina residents can watch the Washington Nationals on the new streaming service? We’ve had issues with MASN here over the years, as you probably know. Please let us know. We are big Nats boosters!!Mick, Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mick, the new regional streaming service for the Washington Nationals is called Nationals.TV and it costs $99 for the season or $19.99 a month. Nationals.TV will replace MASN as the regional TV home of the DC-based team. You can order Nationals.TV here at the MLB web site.

Before I explain where you can watch Nationals.TV, the team has yet to announce any carriage deals with cable and satellite providers. However, it’s highly likely that agreements will be reached before Opening Day on March 26. So you might want to wait before plunking down your $99 on the streaming plan; it’s possible that the team’s games will be added to your current pay TV plan in the next few weeks.

But if you do want to watch Nationals.TV via streaming, the team’s regional TV territory includes all of Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Delaware. It also includes about 80 percent of North Carolina but does not include the far West section of the state. You can see the Nationals’ TV map below:

If you live in the areas in the red, you can watch Nationals.TV. If you don’t, you can’t. You would have to order MLB TV’s out-of-market package for $149.99 to watch the team’s games. You can check by zip code on this page here.

Mick, I hope that answers your question. As a Raleigh resident, you should have no trouble watching Nationals.TV.

Happy viewing and stay safe!
