Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount Plus, Amazon Prime, Peacock, Apple TV and Disney Plus this weekend (February 12-15, 2026) will add 39 new TV shows and movies. Here are the five to watch, in my humble opinion:

Predator: Badlands
Where to Watch: Hulu
When to Watch: Thursday, February 12
What Kind of Movie: Sci-Fi/Action
Who’s In It: Elle Fanning, Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi

Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi stars as a Yautja who travels to a hostile planet to find and kill a dangerous Predator. Unfamiliar with the new land, he teams up with a corporation android (Elle Fanning) who shows him the way. The seventh in the Predator sci-fi series is a rocking 107 minutes with plenty of action, and a few moral dilemmas for the thinking viewer. The film has made nearly $200 million worldwide at the box office and commands an impressive 86 score at the critical review site, Rotten Tomatoes.

The Hunting Party (Season One)
Where to Watch: Netflix
When to Watch: February 15
What Kind of Show: Crime Drama

Who’s In It: Melissa Roxburgh, Nick Wechsler
How’s this for a premise? The world’s most dangerous serial killers escape from a top-secret prison and a special force is tasked to catch each one before they kill again. The show, which is now in its second season on NBC, will make the algorithm machine ring at Netflix which has never met a serial killer it didn’t stream. Season one debuts on Netflix on Sunday, February 15 (with season two undoubtedly not far behind.)

Neighbors
Where to Watch: HBO Max
When to Watch: Sunday, February 15, 2026
What Kind of Show: Cinema Verite
Who’s In It: Neighbors

The new HBO doc series (6 episodes to air weekly) will eyes-drop on real-life warring neighborhood factions as they battle over animal rights, property boundaries and anything else you got. The producers hatched the idea after watching endless YouTube videos of neighbors battling over seemingly trivial troubles during Covid. With a production team that includes the brilliant Josh Safdie (Marty Supreme), Neighbors will likely be the talk of the town as well as in the chosen neighborhoods.

Soul Power: The Legend of the American Basketball Association
Where to Watch: Amazon’s Prime Video
When to Watch: Thursday, February 12
What Kind of Show: Sports Documentary
Who’s In It: Julius Erving, Spencer Haywood, Moses Malone

The Amazon original doc chronicles the wild and crazy history of the American Basketball Association which challenged the established NBA for nine years in the late 1960s and 1970s. The league, which nurtured young stars such as Julius Erving, Artis Gilmore, Moses Malone and Spencer Haywood, introduced such novel concepts as the three-point shot, multi-colored ball and a funkadelic style of play that had to be seen to be believed. Picking this documentary as one to watch is a slam dunk.

Conclave (2024)
Where to Watch: Peacock
When to Watch: February 13
What Kind of Movie: Drama
Who’s In It: Ralph Fiennes, Stanley TuccI, John Lithgow

Ralph Fiennes stars in the 2025 Academy Award Best Picture nominee film about the inner secrets behind the election of a new Pope. Conclave is a riveting examination of human ambitions masked in religious righteousness as well as a master class in exceptional acting from Fiennes, Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow. You may never look at a real Pope the same way after watching this movie.
