Peacock to Add 106 New Releases In February 2026: The 3 to Watch

Peacock this month (February 2026) will add 106 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (Peacock will show both the Super Bowl and Winter Olympics this month but we will restrict the ‘3 to watch’ to shows and movies.)

The Burbs (Season One Premiere)
When to Watch: February 8
What Kind of Show: Black Comedy
Who’s In It: Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall

Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall play a newly married couple who move to the neighborhood of his youth only to discover it’s now teeming with secrets and ultra weirdness. Based on the 1989 movie, starring Tom Hanks, all eight episodes will debut on Super Bowl Sunday, a sign that NBC thinks it’s a winner; millions will be on Peacock on Sunday to watch the game and they will be blitzed with The Burbs.

Conclave (2024)
When to Watch: February 13
What Kind of Movie: Drama
Who’s In It: Ralph Fiennes, Stanley TuccI, John Lithgow

Ralph Fiennes stars in the 2025 Academy Award Best Picture nominee film about the inner secrets behind the election of a new Pope. Conclave is a riveting examination of human ambitions masked in religious righteousness as well as a master class in exceptional acting from Fiennes, Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow. You may never look at a real Pope the same way after watching this movie.

Field Generals: History of the Black Quarterback
When to Watch: February 5
What Kind of Show: Sports Documentary (Four parts)
Who’s In It: Maria Taylor, Doug Williams, Randall Cunningham

For younger fans, it may seem quaint to regard the concept of a ‘black quarterback’ as something special. But just a few decades ago, many coaches and general managers believed that an African American wasn’t smart enough to handle the duties and would often draft a standout college QB only to switch him to cornerback or wide receiver in training camp. This four-part Peacock original documentary, hosted by Maria Taylor, examines how the league’s thinking changed over the years and why the ‘black quarterback’ now dominates in the person of such superstars as Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts. (The premiere episode streams February 5 with a new episode running every Thursday until the finale on February 26.)
