Netflix to Add 65 New Shows & Movies This Week – Here Are the 3 to Watch

Netflix this week (October 26-November 1, 2025) plans to add 65 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Witcher, Season 4
Release Date: Thursday, October 30
The fantasy drama series, based on the same-named book series by author Andrzej Sapkowski, returns to Netflix for season four. In the first three installments, The Witcher starred Henry Cavill as a monster hunter known as ‘The Witcher.’ But in season four, the role will go to Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) due to reported creative differences between Cahill and the show’s production team.

The Asset, Season One
Release Date: Monday, October 27
If you can handle subtitles, this Danish spy drama is getting considerable buzz. The show stars Clara Dessau as a new police cadet who goes undercover as a jeweler to bring down a criminal empire. Good Housekeeping writes that the gritty six-episode series “will get your heart racing” while Hello Magazine calls it “your next binge.”

Baby Driver (2017)
Release Date: Saturday, November 1
And if you’re looking for a movie to get your heart racing, Baby Driver stars Ansel Elgort as a mentally deficient getaway driver for a crime crew populated by a murderer’s row of superb supporting players – Kevin Spacey, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Jon Bernthal and Eiza Gonzalez. The team’s plan to pull off a heist backfires, leaving Elgort’s character at odds with the group and looking for a fast avenue out. Directed by Edgar Wright, Baby Driver is an inventive and action-packed crime drama flavored with some delicious scenery chewing performances. Great filmmaking on display here. And, boy, do we miss Spacey in roles like this.
