Netflix, HBO Max, Disney Plus, Peacock Add 6 New Shows Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, HBO Max, Disney Plus and Peacock are adding six new TV shows today (January 12, 2026). Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Show: Documentary
Who’s In It: Duffer Brothers, Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown
The last episode of Stranger Things debuted less than two weeks ago but Netflix is already going back to the well with this new documentary on the making of the final season. The 122-minute doc will chronicle the creative process in developing the final plot lines as well as offer an intimate look at the cast members’ final farewells.

Monday Night Raw: 2026
Where to Watch: Netflix
When to Watch: 2 p.m. ET
What Kind of Show: Athletic Entertainment
Who’s in It: Gunther, A.J. Styles
Netflix’s weekly wrestlefest comes live today from Düsseldorf, Germany with a different air time: 2 p.m. ET. A.J. Styles and Gunther will grudge grapple and there will be both a men’s and women’s tag team match. If you’ve never seen Monday Night Raw, it’s undeniably entertaining despite its obvious lack of authenticity.

I Am Boxer (New episode)
What Kind of Show: Athletic Reality
Where to Watch: Disney Plus
Who’s In It: Don Lee
And speaking of fisticuffs, this time of the authentic kind (we think), Disney Plus presents another episode of I Am Boxer, a Korean competition show where 90 boxers battle each other in a variety of dangerous bouts and missions. Hosted by boxing veteran Don Lee, it’s a crazy show that has to be seen to be believed.

NBA fans, note that Peacock will stream a triple header tonight. Not the best matchups but Peacock’s 1080p HD picture is so good that it’s worth streaming in.
