Paramount Plus, the streaming service which has such fan-favorite shows as Landman and Dexter as well as NFL football, is raising prices on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

As announced last November, Paramount Plus will increase its ads-included Essential plan from $7.99 a month to $8.99 a month. The Premium plan, which includes Showtime and a live feed of your local CBS affiliate, will rise from $12.99 a month to $13.99 a month on that day.

Paramount Plus’ Essentials annual plan will also increase from $59.99 a year to $89.99 a year while the Premium annual plan will jump from $119.99 a year to $139.99 a year.

The price hike continues an industry trend with several streaming services, including Hulu, Apple TV, Disney Plus and HBO Max, raising prices in recent months.

If you’ve been planning to subscribe to Paramount Plus, you should do so in the next three days. You could save $30 on an annual subscription to the Essentials plan or $20 on the annual Premium plan. By subscribing now to a monthly plan, you would also save $1 a month as opposed to getting the plan starting Thursday.
