Paramount Plus & Peacock Add 3 New Releases Today – Which Ones Should You Watch?

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Paramount Plus and Peacock together have added three new shows and movies today. Here‘s a look at each one so you can decide which one is worth your time and attention.

Little Disasters (Series Premiere, Paramount Plus Original)
Release Date: Today, 3 a.m. ET

Jo Joyner stars as an emergency room doctor who struggles whether to report a child’s serious (and suspicious) head injury to authorities when she discovers the child’s Mom is her best friend (Diane Kruger). The entire six-part limited series debuts today.

The Fabelmans (2022) – Peacock
Release Date: Today, 3 a.m. ET

Director Steven Spielberg’s most personal film ever, a thinly disguised biographical drama about a young boy who shields himself from the escalating dissolution of his parents’ marriage by making home movies with his sisters. As anyone who knows the Spielberg back story, this is how he became a filmmaker and the great director holds nothing back here. The Fabelmans is a honest and raw account of the complexity of the making of a genius.

A Motown Christmas – Peacock
Release Date: Today, 3 a.m. ET

If you remember the 60s, or just have good taste in music, you are familiar with the catchy collection of songs from artists on the Motown label, such as The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. This two-hour NBC special, which first aired on the network on Tuesday night, includes live renditions of 25 Motown songs from musicians such as the aforementioned Mr. Robinson, Gladys Knight, Jamie Foxx, Halle Bailey and Jordin Sparks. Ain’t no mountain high enough to stop me from watching this one. Smokey and Halle are the co-hosts, as pictured above.
