Deal Alert: Xfinity Internet Gig Plan For $50 a Month For 5 Years

If you’re looking for a bump up in Internet speed for streaming, Comcast’s Xfinity is now offering its uber-fast Gigabit plan for just $50 a month in a time-limited promotion. (The cost is usually around $80 a month depending upon the market.)
Even better, the company will guarantee that price for five years and throw in two years of Peacock Premium ($10.99 a month regular price) for free.
The deal is limited to new Xfinity Internet customers although I would encourage you to give it a try if you are a past or even current subscriber. I have received discounts from Xfinity while a current Internet plan holder.
Comcast says the promotion will end on December 21, 2025. To qualify for the special price, you will need to submit a stored bank account and agree to paperless billing. Taxes and fees are also extra.
The Gig plan is especially helpful if you live in a medium-to-large house with multiple users. Unlike some lesser speed options, Gig service is more likely to deliver a reliable and consistent signal when use is high.
