Amazon’s Black Friday Sale Just Hours Away
The annual Amazon Black Friday sale begins tomorrow at 3 a.m. ET with thousands of products and services discounted by as much as 50 percent off. But for now, the early Black Friday sale is still on at Amazon and it includes a surprising number of great deals. To see the latest early Black Friday deals at Amazon, click here.

Sling TV For Just One Dollar!
Disney has sued Sling TV for allegedly including its ESPN in the streamer’s short-term passes which include $4.99 for one day of viewing. However, a federal court judge just rejected Disney’s request for an immediate injunction to halt the Sling feature. To celebrate the victory – and perhaps taunt Disney a bit – Sling is now offering its one-day pass for just $1 until November 30. The short-term passes are good for Sling’s Orange plan (but not Blue) which includes the ESPN channels, Disney Channel, CNN and roughly 30 others.

Apple’s iPad Now Only $299
Over the years, I have noticed that any significant discount on the Apple iPad draws huge interest from our readers. Well, for those folks, the 11-inch latest edition Apple iPad with WiFi has just been slashed by $50 to $299. The deal is now available at both Amazon and Best Buy. Here is the Amazon link. (Also, for what it’s worth, I love the iPad and I happen to be writing this article on one as we speak.)

Don’t Sleep On These Mattress Discounts!
I’m not sure if mattresses are the first thing you think of when compiling your Black Friday shopping list. However, People Magazine has assembled a list of the 14 best deals on mattresses during the holiday sale period with some beds up to 73 percent off. The huge discounts – plus the opportunity to employ the sleep pun in the headline – compelled me to include this in today’s update. To see the People Magazine story, click here.

Sony 1000XM5 Headphones: 38 Percent Off
In my view, or, should I say, my ears, no one makes better headphones than Sony. And thanks to Black Friday, the company is now offerings its top-notch 1000XM5 over-the-ear headphones for just $248, which is $152 off the regular price. To learn more, see this Engadget story.

Paramount Plus For $2.99; Will Other Streamers Offer Black Friday Deals?
Every year during Black Friday, consumers anxiously await whether the top streamers will slash their prices for the big sale. Well, we know that Paramount Plus will be $2.99 a month for two months at Roku, but what about the other streamers? Yesterday, I posted a short column on what to expect and you can read it here.
