NFL RedZone Is Free Today On DIRECTV, Dish, Comcast, 5 More Providers

The NFL RedZone, hosted by Scott Hanson, will be available as a free preview for subscribers to eight TV providers today (Sunday, November 2, 2025.)

The channel, which provides live look-ins at pivotal moments during NFL Sunday afternoon games (you can learn more about the RedZone channel here in our article.), will be free on DIRECTV (satellite and streaming) Cox, Dish, Hulu Live, Optimum, Sling TV, Charter’s Spectrum TV and Comcast’s Xfinity. (Several smaller services may also have the free preview; check your on-screen guide for more details.)

The channel has become must-viewing for both casual and rabid fans with many saying it’s even better than the NFL Sunday Ticket. And it’s certainly cheaper. The NFL RedZone channel usually is included in sports add-on plans on TV providers for less than $15 a month while the Sunday Ticket’s minimum price now is $150 (following YouTube’s mid-season price cut this week.

YouTube TV, which includes the RedZone in a Sunday Ticket bundle, or a Sports add-on package, will not offer the channel for free this Sunday.

To learn more about your TV provider’s plan for the RedZone this Sunday, consult your on-screen guide. The RedZone is also available (although not free this Sunday) on Fubo, Verizon and the league’s NFL Plus streaming service.
