Could the NBA Offer a Sunday Ticket With Local Games?
The National Football League has made billions of dollars selling its games via the NFL Sunday Ticket so it’s not surprising that other league commissioners would be interested in offering a similar package. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver tells Sports Illustrated that his sport is contemplating a ‘Sunday Ticket’ like plan although the model might be somewhat different. “To me, the most pro-consumer/fan model would be one where you can get any game at any time regardless of the geography. And you would also simplify the transactional friction (price) in terms of being able to get that game. That’s something that, I’d say, many of the national platforms are interested in and those discussions are ongoing.” To learn more, click here.

Michael Jordan’s Role On NBC Broadcasts Revealed
