Update: Comcast vs. Yes Network
By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.
Front Office Sports reported last month that Comcast could lose the Yes Network, the regional TV home of the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets, at the end of September. The two companies last spring signed a short-term agreement and the online publication said it would expire yesterday. Well, yesterday came and went and there has been no word from either side on whether a new agreement has been reached. There also hasn’t been an update from Front Office Sports since its original article on September 19. So, for now, The TV Answer Man will continue to monitor this situation and report back here if anything significant changes.
Update: Front Office Sports reports today that another short-term extension has been reached.
