Sports Fans: DIRECTV Streaming’s Choice Plan Now $35 Off In First Month

DIRECTV’s streaming Choice plan is now available for $35 off the regular rate for the first month, bringing the first month price from $89.99 to $54.99.
The discount is news for sports fans because Choice is the least expensive DIRECTV streaming plan that includes regional sports networks (RSNs). And DIRECTV carries more regional sports networks than any other TV provider.
However, there is a catch. With required fees added, the cost for the first month rises to $68.98. Plus, regular rates apply in month two although DIRECTV is offering $10 a month off in months two to 24 if you continue your subscription in those months. (DIRECTV Streaming allows you to cancel your subscription at any time unlike DIRECTV Satellite which requires a two-year agreement.)
DIRECTV Streaming’s Choice plan has more than 125 channels including ESPN. The TV provider announced last week that any satellite and streaming subscriber with ESPN in his or her plan will get free access to the new ESPN Unlimited app sometime in the fall.
