Hulu today (July 1, 2025) is adding 65 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion.

Bridesmaids (2011)
This 2011 comedy (pictured above) stars Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live) at the peak of her zany powers as a single woman in her 30s who turns an upcoming wedding into a series of comic misadventures. The flawless supporting cast includes Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Ellie Kemper, and for fans still nostalgic for 1970s indie films, the great Jill Clayburgh.

The Equalizer 3 (2023)
We’re back with Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua for this likely final installment in The Equalizer series. Washington plays Robert McCall, a former CIA agent who strives to shed a life of guilty feelings by doing good for strangers. Of course, the good includes killing every bad guy in sight, but hey, as Training Day’s Denzel taught us, the ends can justify the means. The third in the Equalizer trilogy touches heartstrings, too, with Dakota Fanning playing a young CIA agent who’s mysteriously lured into McCall’s new world set in Mob-controlled southern Italy. Fanning and Washington were lovely together in 2004’s Man on Fire and it’s great to see the two reunited on screen with a great payoff at the end.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives – Season Two Reunion – Hulu Original Series
The Hulu busy bees have concocted a reality series featuring a TikTok group of married Mormon women who share their secrets and their husbands for pleasure and profit. By all accounts, which arguably means dubious social media chatter, the show is a hit and now Hulu brings back the cast to discuss the tawdry doings in seasons one and two. (Both are now available on Hulu.)
