Netflix this week (June 22-28, 2025) plans to add seven new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here’s the one to watch, in my humble opinion.

Squid Game (Season 3) – Netflix Original
Release Date: Friday, June 27
Squid Game (pictured above) is back for season three. The drama features hundreds of broke contestants who go for broke by risking their lives for cash prizes in a game show. The South Korean-made series is a biting but sometimes inspiring commentary on class warfare and the human survival instinct. Season three, which debuts on Friday, June 27, is the series finale and the show’s cast is promising a ‘crazy and unexpected’ denouement.
