Amazon’s Prime Video this week (June 23-29, 2025) plans to add 13 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here’s the one to watch, in my humble opinion:

Nosferatu (2024)
Release Date: Friday, June 27

Nicholas Hoult and Lily-Rose Depp (pictured above) star in this Robert Eggers directed remake of the 1922 vampire horror classic. I watched Nosferatu when it first streamed on Peacock and found it absorbing and intriguing. However, it’s definitely not for the squeamish; Eggers uses all available 2024 special effects to heighten the terror (and send the faint of heart, and stomach, to another room.) The scenery-chewing supporting cast includes Bill Skarsgard as the crazy Count and Willem Dafoe as a professor with a few theories on the undead.
