Netflix this week (June 8-14, 2025) plans to add 13 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion.

Titan: The Oceangate Disaster – Netflix Original Documentary
Release Date: Wednesday, June 11.
The doc examines the submersible that imploded on the ocean floor enroute to photographing the Titanic. The Titan doc is an important cautionary tale for the daredevil set who are inclined to put hubris first and common sense second.

Fubar (Season 2) – Netflix Original
Release Date: Thursday, June 12.
Arnold Schwarzenegger (pictured above) is back in season two of his first TV series ever. The actor/politician/bodybuilder plays a CIA operative who discovers that his daughter works for the company as well. Comic and action hijinks soon ensue. This is not vintage Arnold – the old boy is a bit long in the tooth – but it’s still fun watching him kick butt while muscling out one liners.

Plane (2023)
Release Date: Thursday, June 12
Gerard Butler stars as a commercial pilot who must team with a suspected murderer to fight off a hostile army when his plane crashes. Fast-paced and well-done action thriller.
