NFL Sunday Ticket 2025: Will YouTube Cut the Price?

TV Answer Man, I am waiting on YouTube to drop the price for the NFL Sunday Ticket before I order this year. Do you think they will? – Bob, Cleveland.

Bob, that’s a great question. The NFL Sunday Ticket is now $378 if you bundle it with a YouTube TV subscription while it’s $480 if you purchase it separately via YouTube Primetime Channels. For many fans, that’s a bit steep even though the Ticket is the only way to watch every Sunday afternoon out-of-market game.

So, will YouTube drop the price before the 2025 season?

In late April 2024, YouTube began offering new customers $170 off the price of the Sunday Ticket if they bundled the package with a YouTube TV subscription. Fans who ordered the Ticket via Primetime Channels received a $100 discount.

However, here we are on May 7, 2025 and there have been no discounts yet. Does that mean that YouTube will hold the line this year?

Not necessarily. YouTube last month began allowing new subscribers to pay for the Ticket with 12 monthly installments rather than in one lump sum. The streamer could be waiting to see the results of that initiative before offering a pre-season discount this year. (There was no parallel marketing initiative that could have conflicted with the 2024 pre-season discount.)

Consequently, I would urge patience before deciding to subscribe for the 2025 season. The odds are still good that YouTube will offer a discount before the 2025 season begins in September. But if you order now, you won’t be able to take advantage of it because there are no refunds on the NFL Sunday Ticket.
