DIRECTV has expanded availability of its new broadcast and sports plan, called MySports, from 24 markets to 122. The package, which the TV provider says includes more than 40 sports, news and broadcast channels, costs $70 a month.
MySports, which was launched earlier this month, includes the following sports-related channels: ACC Network, Big Ten Network, DIRECTV 4K Live, DIRECTV 4K Live 2, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Golf Channel, MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network, NHL Network, SEC Network, TBS, TNT, TruTV and USA Network.

The MySports local channel lineup consists of network affiliates, mostly ones owned and operated by ABC, FOX, and NBC. (CBS is not part of the plan.) However, DIRECTV said today that it has added 104 Fox affiliates to the MySports lineup which now includes stations owned by Fox, Cox Media Group, Gray TV, Nexstar, Scripps, and Sinclair.
The MySports plan is available with a five-day free trial. Consumers who sign up online for the contract-free package before February 28, 2025, can receive MySports for $49.99 monthly for the first three months, a $20 monthly savings. The plan will automatically renew after the free trial if you don’t cancel.
DIRECTV said markets that have been added to MySports include Denver, Cleveland, Sacramento, St. Louis, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Portland, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Nashville, San Antonio, Columbus OH, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, Greenville NC, West Palm Beach FL, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, Norfolk VA, Harrisburg PA, Grand Rapids MI, Birmingham AL, Greensboro NC, Jacksonville FL, Albuquerque NM, Louisville KY, and New Orleans, among others.
Here are the original 24 markets where MySports was available:

Detroit
Durham, North Carolina
Fresno, California
Gainesville, Florida
Houston
Los Angeles
Miami
Milwaukee
Minneapolis

DIRECTV says MySports subscribers will also have access to 17 free sports channels that are available to anyone at DIRECTV’s free streaming service, MyFreeDIRECTV. That puts the MySports lineup over 40 channels although anyone can already watch the free channels without subscribing to MySports. So you’re actually only paying for 27 channels – and it’s less than that if you don’t get the ABC, Fox and NBC affiliates in your market.
