The Cincinnati Reds are the latest team to reverse course and sign a one-year deal with Main Street Sports (formerly Diamond Sports) to allow the RSN company’s FanDuel Sports Network to carry the team’s games in market in 2025.

The Reds agreement comes after the Milwaukee Brewers flipped earlier this month and announced it would stay with Diamond/Main Street for the 2025 season. Both the Reds and Brewers said last October that they would forgo a RSN partnership and allow MLB to broadcast their games.

“Our top priority is to make sure Reds games are accessible to our fans,” Reds chief operations officer Doug Healy said in a statement. “The decision to stay with FanDuel Sports Network provides continuity for our fans to watch Reds games as in previous seasons and now with a direct-to-consumer streaming product available through the FanDuel Sports Network app.”

Diamond Sports, which recently emerged from a nearly two-year bankruptcy reorganization, will now be the regional TV carrier of 30 MLB, NBA and NHL teams. In addition to the Reds and Brewers, the MLB list includes the Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals, Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Marlins, Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Angels.

The Reds said in its release that the FanDuel broadcasts will be available on cable and satellite and a standalone streaming plan available on channel’s app. The standalone plan will not require a separate cable or satellite subscription.

However, FanDuel cable and satellite subs will be able to watch the games on the app with their pay TV user name and password. The statement said pricing details will be disclosed later for the standalone streaming plan.

Diamond Sports announced in November that its FanDuel broadcasts will also be available in market on Amazon’s Prime Video as an add-on subscription. The companies have yet to announce pricing details.
