Amazon’s Prime Video next month (January 2025) plans to add 95 TV shows and movies to its lineup. Here’s the three most interesting, in my humble opinion:

The Fall Guy (2024)
The Fall Guy stars Ryan Gosling as a Hollywood stunt man whose work in his ex-girlfriend’s (Emily Blunt) film gets complicated when the lead actor mysteriously disappears. The director asks him to find the actor which turns out to be his most dangerous stunt yet. The comedy/adventure film is one of the great popcorn movies of 2024, which means dim the lights, and your expectations, before viewing and you’ll enjoy. Debuts January 2.

NFL Wild Card Game
Amazon this year has the exclusive streaming NFL Wild Card game which was held last year by Peacock. While the game will likely be free on Twitch, Amazon’s gaming service, you might want to invest in Prime’s 30-day free trial if you don’t already have a subscription. The game will not be available anywhere else except on local channels in the markets where the two teams play. Debuts January 11 or 12.

You’re Cordially Invited (Amazon Original Movie)
Will Ferrell stars as the father of the bride who discovers her wedding has been double booked by another couple and their pesty wedding planner, played by Reese Witherspoon. It’s been a while that either Ferrell or Witherspoon has engaged in pure comedy so let’s hope for the best here. Debuts January 30.
