The Hulu-Max-Disney Plus bundle launched yesterday with the three streaming services (with ads) available together as a package for $16.99 a month, a 34 percent savings if you were to purchase them separately. If you buy all three without ads, the bundle price is $29.99 a month, a 38 percent discount if they were purchased separately. The companies first announced their intention to launch the bundle last May.

Note that the ads-free Max is not the streamer’s most expensive Ultimate ads-free plan which includes 4K. This bundle includes 4K for Hulu and Disney Plus, but not Max. You can learn more about the bundle and how to order it here. The offer, which is available on all three streaming services’ sites, can be purchased by all qualifying new and existing subscribers.

The Hulu-Max-Disney Plus bundle continues a trend in the industry to combine services to better compete with Netflix and attract cost-conscious consumers. Fox, ESPN and Warner Bros. Discovery this fall are planning to launch a bundled sports streaming service called Venu. The price has yet to be announced.

Comcast in May began offering a streaming bundle of Netflix, Peacock and Apple TV+, for $15 a month. The package includes the $6.99 a month Netflix with ads plan, Peacock Premium, which is now $5.99 a month, and Apple TV+, which is $9.99 a month. The $15 a month price tag represents an $8 a month savings if you purchased each of the three streaming services separately. (Note that the Comcast bundle is only available to Comcast Xfinity subscribers.)
