TV Answer Man, will the Diamondbacks be available on DIRECTV this year? Or just MLB TV? — Carrie, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Carrie, the Arizona Diamondbacks is not available this season on a regional sports network. Diamond Sports, the owner of Bally Sports Arizona, the former regional TV home of the Diamondbacks, decided to terminate its TV deal with the team last year as part of its bankruptcy reorganization plan.

However, the Diamondbacks in 2024 will be available in market without blackouts on MLB TV for $19.99 a month or $99 for the entire season. (There is a handy seven-day free trial.) In addition, DIRECTV, Comcast, Cox and Spectrum TV will also carry the team’s regional broadcasts, according to the Arizona Republic. See your on-screen guide for channel numbers.

Carrie, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
